One of a kind and deeply rooted in the land, the hotel and catering school, is located in the upper part of the city, in the suggestive scenery of the historical centre. During the years, the school has had an exponential growth of students, confirming as the first school of this kind in the region.
Professional Profile
Kitchen Operator: Can realize autonomously the preparation of hot and cold dishes.
Food and Beverage operator: Can perform all the phases of the service in the dining room and in the other restorative establishments.
Reception Operator: Is able to welcome the clients and assist them during their stay.
Catering Manager: Knows the catering market and its principal parts.
Tourist Service Manager: Can use electronic technologies in tourists and catering industries.
School organization
The five year formative course is divided into 3 principal steps; two common years, the third year of qualification, and two post qualification years. Every year, consists of 200 school days, of five hours each, plus the eventual two hours afternoon re-entry.
During the year, there are the school holidays that approximately consist of 15 days at Christmas, 10 days at Easter and the summer period. Apart from the normal school activities there are 15 day trainings for the second classes, and 132 hours of work during the school year for all the other classes except the first one.
