At the end of the meeting all the partners had a clear view of the future project's implementation as we rearranged the activities that should have been developed by Germany and Denmark, both out of the project and agreed to our task for the next meeting in Poland, 14th to 18th of January 2013 to be a presentation about a folk dance of the town or region.

Comenius Project “A visual travel to traditions”
First meeting in Pleven 5th to 9th of November 2012
It is always important to evaluate the Comenius project working days some time after the meetings. Our first meeting took place in Pleven, a northern city in beautiful Bulgaria.
The first meeting is always very important. Meet partners for the first time, rearrange the dates and some tasks in the project and start working together.
Luckily, all the partners that met in Pleven were friendly and eager to do a good job.
Our Bulgarian partners were wonderful hosts. They made us feel like home taking special care in every detail.
We could learn from each other about their countries, their traditions, their culture, their customs and their schools.
We had working sessions and cultural activities. We met the Mayor of Pleven; we visited some museums, we were presented some traditional folk dances and songs; a traditional village where traditional crafts are still alive; art galleries and Pleven famous panorama. We ate Bulgarian traditional food and drinks during the last dinner and danced Bulgarian folk dances.
Everything was perfect. Even more after the sight of a wonderful cake decorated with the logo of our project “ A visual travel to traditions” and a sparkling torch that made the moment magic. The European anthem started to sound ant the we reached the climax of the meeting. Then, some seconds of each country national anthems began to fill the restaurant´s room. We were all standing and feeling that a great story of European friendship had just begun.
Now, at home, I can see and feel all this from the distance and I find myself smiling and even moved when I review my experience with you all.
Next step is Poland. Now we are partners and friends. Now, we´ve got much in common. Now, we are UNITED IN DIVERSITY.
Thank you for every moment.
