The third project meeting took place in Prague, Czech Republic from 18th to 22nd March 2013
This time it was up to the Czech Republic to host our friends from Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, Spain and Turkey.
On Tuesday morning our school might have seemed unusually crowded, it was full of cheerful people who came from close or distant parts of Europe and were willing to share their friendship. This meant the only thing, we were about to begin the third project meeting “A Visual Travel to Traditions”. We started the meeting with presentations where we introduced the Czech Republic and its sights on the UNESCO world heritage list. We also organised a school excursion. In the afternoon we went to explore surrounding of our school, the Old Town and we went as far as the Charles Bridge. In late afternoon we came back to school and watched the films about traditions, which each country made.
Next day we went to visit the Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. Later that day a meeting with the Councillor took place in the Old Town Hall. In the afternoon we organised workshops focused on traditions so we had the opportunity to decorate Easter eggs, braid a willow whip and some of us were photographed in folklore costumes. Finally, we saw a folklore performance and we were taught some basic steps of folklore dances.
Last day we went to see different traditional technics to School of Handicrafts and we topped the travel to traditions off with excursion in the Ethnographical Museum – Musaion. Later, some of us decided to go up Petřín Hill and climb 299 stairs to enjoy the view of Prague from the Petřín Observation Tower. The rest of the afternoon was free so everybody could relax or go shopping. We met again at school and finished the third project meeting with farewell dinner.
In the end I would like to thank all people who helped with preparations and all participants for being such a nice company.
Everything ends so that something else can begin. Therefore we are looking forward to the fourth project meeting in Nevşehir, Turkey where we will re-unite again.

Dear all,
Some days after our meeting in Prague, everything becomes clearer in my mind. Our meetings are always so fast, full of activities and emotions that one cannot process all the information real time. Personally, I am so happy to see you again and so excited to be in a new wonderful country, that I need some time to put everything in order in my mind and heart.
I´d like to share some words with all of you.
I am very happy and very sad at the same time. Time flies so quickly that we have already lived and experienced our third Comenius Meeting. It seems yesterday our first meeting in Pleven. We didn´t know anybody, and now I feel I´ve got a big European family. I can think of Bulgaria, Poland and Czech Republic as home, after having lived magical meetings there. I can see people are nice everywhere. I can see more similarities than differences among us. I can feel that there are no limits or borders in reality. We can understand each other only by speaking some English and the international language of friendship and love.
I am quite happy about our third meeting. I am getting used of meeting you every two months, and now it will be hard until October. But there is one hope there.
For me, this Comenius project is like a sweet dream. I don't want to wake up and see that everything was just a good dream. We´ve gone over half of our meetings and that provokes me contradictory feelings. Happiness and sadness.
Summing up one of our meetings is always a difficult task.
Last meeting in Prague was fantastic. Meeting the Czech group at their wonderful and beautiful school was a real present. I want to thank Jana, Vendula and their team for a fantastic meeting and for the lovely activities they prepared.
I can´t say anything about Prague. My words would never reach the magnificence of that impressive city. I´ve loved Prague for many years. It´s like being in a fairy tale.
I think all the activities fulfilled our expectancies.
It was also a gift meeting our dear Miranda and Noris. We missed them a lot in Poland. Thanks for being there. Your experience is a corner stone for this project.
Thanks Magda for your effort in coming to Prague. Your advice is always welcome. You are an extraordinary partner. Your group was amazing. Your students are fantastic. I know them from our previous meeting and I should say they are charming.
Sonya, thank you for your wonderful work also. I feel quite supported by you. Your boys are always perfect.
Meryem, thank you for your work and kindness. Our Comenius group is richer because your group is with us.
Vendula, your work and experience make things easier. Thank your school mates and your Comenius group for your big effort. The 3rd meeting was unforgettable for us all. Paula was an incredible guide and Iana, the perfect host.
After the third meeting, we all know more about the Czech Republic as a country and also about their traditions and old crafts.
I should say as I said in the previous ones, that we are now richer in knowledge and happier because our friendship has big and deep roots.
We are united in diversity, because good people don´t understand anything about borders.
Thank you very much, dear friends.
